Fall Live Music

Hello Oz Fans! Live Music is alive in Eureka Springs during these times! (Outside and socially distanced of course.)

As the weather grows cooler more outdoor music is in the air! The newest and biggest music topic in Eureka Springs right now is the City’s Overhead Music Series! Overhead being the key word here as our very talented, local musicians have been scheduled on balconies over downtown through the month of October. When can you catch them? Every single Thursday and Friday 5 PM- 8 PM, then again on Saturday from 10 AM all the way to 8PM!

Some of the Balconies that are hosting these talented folks are the Basin Park Hotel overlooking the Basin Park, The Rowdy Beaver Den overlooking the center of Spring Street & the Grand Central Hotel over Main Street. You will be sure to be entertained as you shop and hike through our downtown.

As we enter into fall we were overjoyed to hear that our friends at Deadhead Productions would be holding an event to replace the profound Hillberry Music Festival, DELBERRY! DELBERRY will be a one day event on Saturday, Oct 10th featuring 3 of our favorite bluegrass/jam bands! Catch Opal Agafia and the Sweet Nothings, The Del McCoury Band and Friends of the Family. This will be a Bluegrass camping music experience and Oz cannot wait to dance the weekend away!

The Frisco Sporting Club will host live music outside on Friday nights from 5 PM- 7 PM! The Frisco Sporting Club in the newest addition to the Crescent Hotel Mountain Top Resort. Along with the music you can also find the BBQ Bus, cash bar and Hatchet Throwing every Friday and Saturday 5 PM-9 PM.

Some of the local pubs are keeping the music flowing as normal!

Missy’s White Rabbit Lounge right across from the Basin Park Hotel as she host a variety of live music every weekend at 8 PM. The Rabbit ends the weekend with a popular Open Mic Night on Sunday evening at 6 PM.

The Gravel Bar at the Wandoroo Lodge is also hosting musicians every Friday and Saturday night starting at 7 PM until 10 PM. With one of the largest patios in town it is a great place to enjoy the fall weather and outside music in a family friendly atmosphere. Not to mention the food is a wonderful treat!

The Side Bar -another great place to catch bluegrass music in Eureka Springs, in the fall. Located in Beaver Town (the little town with the really cool big one lane bridge), The Side Bar opened last year and is 90% outdoor seating with a view that overlooks the lake. On Wednesday evenings they host Bluegrass in Beaver 6 PM- 10 PM. This usually brings in a variety of musicians with a wide background of bluegrass music to jam together. It is an experience not to miss! They also host local bands on Sunday afternoons around 4 PM.

Although music may seem a little different it is still flowing through the hill of Eureka Springs. Next up I hope to update you on what OzMoMu21 will look like!

Until Next Time,

Oz
