Hike House Adds E Bike Rentals

The Hike House Eureka Springs – E Bike Rentals

Eureka Springs, Arkansas is a perfect place to experience the outdoors. Located in the Ozark Mountains, Eureka Springs is surrounded by lakes, rivers, and breathtaking scenery. Unfortunately, unless you are a local, it can be difficult to enjoy the rugged Ozark landscape without substantial planning.  The Hike House in Eureka Springs is changing that. With local knowledge and decades of backcountry experience, the Hike House is open at 454 W Van Buren to serve as a resource for discovering and exploring the outdoors.

More Than a Store
As the name suggests, the Hike House focuses on connecting people with appropriate hiking trails in the region. “The joy of hiking depends on choosing the right trail at the right time and being prepared,” suggests Dr. Rachael Moyer, founder of the Hike House Eureka Springs. “Hiking can spark inspiration, build confidence, and encourage discovery. In an increasingly digital world, being in nature is more important than ever.” Moyer has always loved to hike and is excited about helping others connect to the benefits of outdoor recreation. Shifting from a full-time academic career, Moyer has put a lot of thought into what she hopes the Hike House can accomplish. Not only are there in-house printed trail guides to connect visitors to some of the area’s most impressive landmarks, the Hike House will also share the uniqueness of the area by curating regionally crafted products and art. Pushing sustainability to the forefront, the Hike House will also feature brands that emphasize environmental responsibility and encourage the protection of public lands. “I hope that the Hike House will evolve into a place where purchases of quality goods lead to protection for the many wild natural spaces in the Ozarks.”
