Eureka Springs Blues Party Brings Four Days of Non-Stop Music to the Ozarks
Eureka Springs, Arkansas – The Blues are back in Eureka Springs! The Inaugural Eureka Springs Blues Party, a BluesRock and Funk Festival, is set to take place from June 1st to June 4th, 2023, and promises to be an unforgettable four-day extravaganza.
This festival features top talent from the genres of blues, rock, and funk, all performing at venues across Eureka Springs. The festival is not just about big names, though. There are over 20 artists scheduled to perform at various venues across Eureka Springs, providing non-stop entertainment for festivalgoers.
The headline acts for the festival are the legendary Ray Wylie Hubbard and Marcia Ball, who will perform at The Auditorium on Friday, June 2nd at 7:30 pm. Hubbard’s music has been celebrated for over four decades, and he has earned a reputation as a storyteller, songwriter, and guitar player extraordinaire. Ball is an electrifying singer and pianist, with her unique blend of blues, rock-n-roll, and New Orleans-style R&B, Ball is sure to deliver a captivating and unforgettable performance.
Other big acts are Funk Factory and King Cabbage Brass Band, two bands that are sure to get festival-goers moving and grooving to their infectious blend of funk, soul, and blues. The King Cabbage Brass Band is a New Orleans-style brass band that has been wowing audiences with their high-energy performances for years. With a repertoire that includes everything from traditional brass band music to contemporary hits, the King Cabbage Brass Band is guaranteed to get the crowd on their feet.
Funk Factory, on the other hand, is a group of seasoned musicians who have been playing together for over a decade. Their brand of funk is rooted in the traditions of James Brown and Sly & the Family Stone but with a modern twist that makes it uniquely their own. The Honey Island Swap Band has all encompassing sound of blues, roots, country, and soul has been described as “Bayou Americana.”
Whether you prefer blues, rock, or funk, there is something for everyone. Some of the other talented acts scheduled to perform include Los Roscoes, Earl & Them, Brick Fields Duo, and many more regional favorites.
The Eureka Springs Blues Party is produced and underwritten by the Basin Park Hotel, Little Wing Productions, Eureka Springs City Advertising and Promotion Commission, and participating clubs and partners.
