Mountain Biking in the Ozarks

The leaves are all shades of fall and the temperature is finally beginning to match the season. Cool enough to see your breath in the mornings, but usually warming to a beautiful neutral by the afternoon. The mosquitos are gone and now all that is left to do is to get out and enjoy the beauty of the Ozarks.

It’s the perfect opportunity to advantage of Lake Leatherwood park and spend a night camping either in a cabin, RV or tent. The park features 25 miles of trails that offer a rigorous mountain biking ride with Twin Knobs Trail climbing over 300 feet. The terrain is varied with bluffs, creek, hills, dam overlooks and more.

Check out the other trails:

  • Bench Look Trail
  • Lost Ridge Trail
  • Hyde Hollow Trail
  • Beacham Trail
  • Mulladay Hollow
  • Miner’s Rock Trail

For those less athletically inclined, opt for a hike and explore the same trails by foot. After your outdoor adventure, stop by Eureka Springs to enjoy a hearty meal at one of the many owner-operated restaurants.
